  • What should I use the AI concierge for? Will it lie to me?
    Our AI concierge is a state-of-the-art tool designed to provide personalized health insights, education, and support based on your inputs. It’s ideal for learning more about your health, exploring preventative measures, and understanding potential wellness strategies. We have strict safeguards in place to minimize the risk of harmful or untruthful outputs. However, like other similar AI services, there is still a possibility of inaccuracies. For any medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment, please consult a licensed physician.
  • Is the Promed at-home test kit same as standard lab tests?
    Yes. Our at-home testing kits are designed to meet the highest standards in laboratory testing: • FDA-registered: All test kit components are FDA-registered to ensure safety and efficacy. • CLIA/CAP Accreditation: We work with laboratories certified under Clinical Laboratory Improvement Amendments (CLIA) and accredited by the College of American Pathologists (CAP), ensuring the gold standard in lab testing quality. • Thorough Validation: Every test is rigorously validated to exceed CLIA requirements, delivering accuracy and reliability comparable to traditional lab tests. • Quality Assurance: Our labs maintain strict quality control protocols to guarantee precise and consistent results. • Expert Oversight: Your results are analyzed by certified medical experts and further personalized with AI-powered insights and actionable recommendations for better health. With Promed AI, you get convenience affordable at-home testing without sacrificing the accuracy, reliability, or quality of professional laboratory standards.
  • How accurate are the test results?
    At Promed AI, we partner exclusively with CLIA/CAP-accredited laboratories that rigorously validate each assay to meet and exceed federal CLIA standards. Our tests demonstrate a 95% to 99% correlation with traditional blood draw results, ensuring high accuracy and reliability.
  • How do I see my test results and insights?
    When we finish reviewing your test results, you will be able to view the results, along with our physician-reviewed insights, AI-powered risk assessment and customizable action items in your dashboard on your Promed app. You can download the Promed app from the ios store and Google Play store by clicking the download button on our home screen, or search 'Promed' in the stores.
  • Are Promed AI services available in my area?
    Our Core and Essential members receive full service across Canada, including the Promed app, Promed at-home testing and Promed supplement store. Promed AI currently does not operate outside of Canada.
  • Do I need a requisition to get my at-home tests?
    No, Promed physicians provide the requisitions for your test. You will have to go through an online registration process after subscribing to our at-home testing services.
  • Do I need to fast before I do my at-home testing?
    Yes, it is required that you fast for 8-12 hours before taking the test. We recommend that you follow instructions given to you to ensure the accuracy of the test results.
  • Can you help diagnose/treat my existing illness or conditions?
    No, Promed AI services are designed to help our members prevent disease and extend healthspan. If you have an existing illness or condition, please contact your family doctor or other licensed physicians. Promed at-home testing results are not a replacement for medical advice, diagnosis nor treatments.
  • How is Promed AI services different from my family doctor / annual physical?
    Our services are designed to help you optimize health, prevent disease and stay healthier for longer. Our services complement the services you receive from your family doctor and annual physicals by including the assessment of critical biomarkers and health factors usually not covered. Our services are developed using the most up-to-date and advanced algorithms to make sure we provide deeper and more personalized insights than any existing services from the public sector. Promed AI services are not replacement for your family doctor and check-ups which your doctors order for you.
  • Are Promed AI services covered by my insurance plan?
    Promed AI’s at-home testing kits and related services are not covered under public or government health insurance plans in Canada. However, they are eligible as both HSA expenses and CRA-recognized medical expenses. To help with your reimbursement, you can contact us to receive copies of signed requisitions related to your order, some maybe from our partnered licensed physicians in the US. If you have a PSA account, a Personal Wellness Plan or equivalent, you may also request for reimbursements under these plans. We recommend checking with your private health insurer to confirm eligibility for reimbursement under your specific plan or any supplemental benefits you may have. Reviewing your insurance policy or consulting with your provider can help determine if our services qualify for coverage.
  • Can I cancel my memebrship?
    Yes, you may request for a cancellation anytime by emailing us at contact@promedai.ca.
  • How are my personal data used? Is it safe?
    We take your privacy and data security seriously. We have robust procedures, encryption algorithms, and de-identification modules in place to protect your personal information. We always ask for your consent before collecting any personal data and only share it with third-party providers when necessary and for specific purposes.
